PORTUGUESE MAN-O-WAR

Commonly known as blue bottle, they are found in the warm areas of the oceans. They can be 165 feet long under water or 50 meters. They are extremely dangerous if you come across one leave it along even beached like the one in the picture they can sting as long as they are wet. The circular object on top of the man-o-war is a gas filled bladder (like a sandwich bag filled with air) this allows it to move like a sailboat. REMEMBER IF YOU VACATION ON THE BEACH STAY AWAY FROM BEACHED JELLYFISH!
