Frogs, Toads, and Their
Environment
Where do frogs and toads live? ANYWHERE! Except one place,
Antarctica. You can find most of them in the tropics since they
prefer moist regions. They can't live in a totally dry
environment because they loose water very rapidly. If they don't
have access to land they could drown, even though they are
excellent swimmers.
If you ever want to look for frogs, the best time to look is
at night. Their favorite place to hide is under rocks that are
stuck in the earth. They burrow underground and if they live in a
cold environment, they hibernate during the winter.
