Evidence of the Past

No human being has ever seen a live dinosaur. In fact 60million years separate the last of the dinosaurs & the first man. But dinosaurs are almost as familiar to us as elephants or whales. We know about these extinct animals because we find their bones and teeth preserved. When they died their bodies were covered with sand & mud , witch became sedimentary rock. Their bones & teeth became fossils.When these fossilized remains are uncovered we can reconstruct sections.
