The panda has a vegetarian diet. Although the panda does have a carnivores digestive system - it lives off of bamboo leaves and stems. It up to 14 hours a day consuming 12 to 14 of nutrient-poor bamboo. On some special occasions - the panda will feast on crocus, iris, small bamboo rats, birds, or will invade farmer's cornfield or behives (panda's do have a sweet tooth!!)
A panda's favortie postion when he or she eats is either lying on their back or side, or sitting in a relaxed slouch.
