Spider Monkeys
Spider monkey, any of species of small,
agile monkeys with long, slender limbs, inhabiting forests from
southern Brazil to central Mexico. Their fur is yellowish-gray to
brown with white eye rings, and they mainly eat fruits. Sometimes
they hang from tree to tree to find food.
The females tend to be a little larger
and heavier than males. They have very long arms, legs, and even
just the tip of their tail can support the weight of their entire
body.
