How a Zookeeper Takes
Care of Rhinos
There are many important basic duties
of zookeeping. Such as cleaning of there living area, maintenance
of animal enclosures, and proper feeding. It is important on how
much Rhinos eat so they are not overweight. Most zookeepers keep
a journal on there food intake and how much weight they have
gained. Zookeepers may design, build, and repair animal
enclosures to make the Rhino feel at home and also to behave
normally. Such as for Rhinos zookeepers put plants, rocks, and
trees around there living habitat, in other words there exhibit.
Zookeeper should watch there animal that they are taking care of
often and keep a log on behavior and different changes in
physical and mental appearances.
Zookeepers have to be excellent
observers. Zookeepers should always watch subtle changes in
animals psychological and physical conditions and then react
accordingly. These responsibilities should never be
underestimated since they are essential in maintaining a
reproductively and healthy successful animal collection. This has
been a sum of the things zookeepers have to do to take care of
Rhinos.
