Rachel Lousie Carson was a marine biologist and writer. She wasborn in 1907 and died in 1964. Rachel Carson was an importantperson because she warned people about the dangers of pollution-primarly from DDT, and her work led to laws that protected peopleand nature from man made chemicals.
