Grammar School- The first step to a career in Marine Mammal Science is to finish your grammar school. Usually that consists of Kindergarten through Eighth grade.

High School- High school courses such as biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science, and language are very good educational bases for a job in Marine Mammal Science.

Undergraduate Studies- Most Marine Mammal Science jobs require a B.S. degree, with a major in biology, chemistry, physics, geology, or psychology. Minors in sciences, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or engineering can be also be very helpful.
