Requirements to become a Biochemist
Every student who wishes to be a biochemist must complete at
least four graduate-level chemistry courses. Students must keep
their GPA at a minimum of 2.7 in their graduate chemistry
courses. The student is expected to be ready for a very thorough
examination in their field of specialty. The must also be able to
do independent research. This is shown by the accomplishing of
very difficult work which turn out to be a published work of
scientific reading. When the degree program is completed, the
student must meet with the Director of the School of Chemistry
and Biochemistry for an exit interview.
