The January Hawk Talk curriculum asks groups to work in pairs as buddy
groups. Since Hawk Talk groups usually work independently, groups are seldom
mixed. There are different social dynamics, then, when students interact
with different student friends. January's first activity requires the groups
to get acquainted by having a short game-playing session. The second buddy
activity was the Beach Party. The third activity
was the money raising bake sales.
