5th and 6th Graders Gather Food for Others

Pictured above are Christine Baldus and members of South Hamilton Hawk Talk groups who represented their friends during a presentation of food to the Community Food Pantry, sometimes known as The Lord's Cupboard. During the month of November, the 5th and 6th grade Hawk Talk groups have been thinking of others by gathering food and other supplies which are distributed to less fortunate community members. Motivated by a playful daily comparison of the number of items, a large number of food items were collected by each group.

Christine Baldus, representing all who administer the Community Food Pantry, received the donated boxes of items and thanked the students who had assembled in the Rotunda of the school.

She said that the students should feel that they had a part in all of the Thanksgiving parcels distributed this season.
