Building Project Update:
The Board approved the plans and specifications at an April 30th special
board meeting. Mr. Ken Gantz informed the board that the plans would be
distributed during the week of May 3rd to interested contractors around
the state of Iowa.
On May 20th, a pre-bid meeting was held in the elementary building for
those contractors who were interested in the bidding and might have questions
about the specifications. Several general contractors and sub-contractors
were in attendance.
The bids are due on June 4th. The board will probably make a decision
on June 8th at their regular monthly board meeting.
