Character Education Quilts

Quilts shown here were created by South Hamilton Elementary School students.  They are completed and are ready for the silent auction on May 22 during the Willis Welp Relays.  Bidding will start during the 5th and 6th races at 10 AM.  There will be a break for lunch, and then bidding will resume during the K-4 relays at 12:30 PM.  Bidding will stop at 2:30.

Anyone unable to attend the relays may call between 1:00 and 2:30 PM to place a bid (515-708-5511).  The winners of the quilts will be announced shortly after 2:30 on the relays loudspeaker.  Checks should be made out to the organization designated by the classes and must be turned in to Vicki Olthoff before the quilt can be released.

The quilts are on display in the elementary library glass cases in the grade 1-4 hallway.  They may be viewed during school hours or on the day of bidding.  Photos of the quilts are also available for viewing at Prairie Rose Quilt Shop.
