Gifts for the Food Pantry

During the month of December, students at South Hamilton's elementary school brought food items from home to be given to the South Hamilton Area Food Pantry. Their generosity produced a total of 1737 food items collected. Students are hopeful that their donated food will make a difference to many families who are having trouble meeting expenses this winter. Principal Paul Hemphill is shown above speaking to the students at the food presentation assembly. The sixth graders below are starting to transport the first of the huge pile of food collected.
