On Wednesday, November 6th, South Hamilton's FFA Chapter took a horse judging team to compete at Ellsworth Community College.  Team members were Lynsey Carlson, Gary Draper, and Ryan Monthei.  This team judged 5 classes of horses and competed with 48 contestants from 13 teams..  South Hamilton's team placed 3rd in Oral Reasons, 5th in Halter Classes, and 7th in Performance Classes, bringing home a 2nd place standing overall.

Individual results: Lynsey placed 2nd out of 48 in Oral Reasoning and 5th place out of 48 in Performance Classes giving her a 5th place standing overall.  Gary placed 1st out of 48 in Halter Classes, and 5th out of 48 in Oral Reasoning providing him with a 6th place standing overall.  Ryan placed 20th individually out of 48 in overall standing.

Next spring, this team will represent their chapter well at the State Horse Judging contest.
