South Hamilton School will be represented in the 1997-1998 All-State Performance by Jennon Caruth who will be singing bass I in the chorus. Sixteen vocalists and fourteen instrumentalists tried out for the honor of being All-Staters. Picked as first alternate this year was vocalist B.J. Bolluyt. April Young came close to selection by being recalled on her clarinet. Leah Johnston was recalled vocally. Congratulations to Jennon and to all who improved their skills by preparing for their auditions!
