This bright and delightful musical, set in the 50's, has a content still very relevent to us today. Its viewpoint is satirical, and gives insight into everyday life that is very much a part of all of us today: idolizing performers, teenage romance, family life, adult romance, generation gap, and town gossip just to name a few.
Our concept of staging the musical is not to show you real life situation but to create larger than life ideas. As you watch and enjoy this production, you will see yourself and laugh, become upset, cry, change your views, scream, or become outraged. One thing is certain, you will react as we poke fun at ourselves.
In the final scene, the satire ends, and the family, as an open and sharing unit, emerges as a very important aspect of life.
