Most bands in the Fort Dodge Frontier Days parade were high school bands wearing their uniforms.   Because the South Hamilton Middle School band didn't have uniforms, the all students would decorate their horns with crepe paper streamers of the same color.   All watching the parade could tell the band was unified by wearing their unofficial uniforms.
