On August 19th, South Hamilton's 1999 Baseball Team ended their season with a family potluck followed by remarks from the coaches and awards. 49 people were in attendance.
Team awards received included Jay Miller - Coach's Award, Kent Spohnheimer - Hawk Award, and Kyle Stowe - MVP Award.
Coach Dean Youngblut mentioned how hard the team worked even under adverse conditions.
Coach Jay Wright congratulated the 9th and JV teams on their season.
Players named Heart of Iowa Conference Honorable Mention included senior Jay Miller, now attending UNI in Cedar Falls, junior Kent Spohnheimer, and sophomore Kyle Stowe.
