Mike Lindseth earns National Merit Honors

South Hamilton student Michael Lindseth has been selected as a National Merit Semifinalist. Fewer than one-half of one percent of each state's graduating seniors are awarded this honor. Mike's qualifying score on the the National Merit Test placed him among the top 168 students in Iowa. Semifinalists have an opportunity to continue in the competition for more than 6500 Merit Scholarships, worth over $25 million. Mike joins six former South Hamilton graduates who were named National Merit Scholar Semifinalists. Those other students were B.J. Bolluyt in 1999, Sarah Courteau in 1994, Jess Iverson in 1991, Kendal Kline in 1988, Andy Arends in 1988, and Erik Iverson in 1985.
