All speech members who received a I rating at district or state contests were honored with a certificate at this year's Speech Supper. Pictured above are Matt Sigmund, Ross Schumaker, Lynsey, Carlson, Afton Holt, Val Krumm, Rachel Krumm, Ellen Wagner, and Ariana Wolf. Fine arts letters were awarded for the first time to the ten students who lettered this season. Also, Lori Petrie, who will no longer be assistant coach, was honored. She will be missed!
Individual Speech contestants were coached by Mindy Gray, Lisa Pulis, and Lori Petrie.
Ross Schumaker, Afton Holt, and Ellen Wagner were chosen by their state judges as Outstanding Performers. Over 9,000 students state-wide participated in individual speech, and only 400 of those were chosen to perform at All-State. Unfortunately the festival was cancelled due to the weather.
