Adult Stage

The Monarch butterfly looks a lot different from the caterpillar. The butterfly will hatch from the transparent chrysalis and you will now see the Monarch butterfly that you chase around your home, in fields, or wooded areas. The Monarch butterfly lives 2 to 20 monthes. They will fly south to survive during the winter monthes.
