GORILLA DESCRIPTIONS

In males, gorillas are about 5 foot 6 inches when they are standing upright and about 4 foot 6 inches in their normal stance. Male gorillas weigh anywhere from 300 to 500 pounds.

Females are 5 foot standing upright and 3 foot 6 inches in their normal stance. They wiegh between150 to 250 pounds.

The arm span of a gorilla can be up to 9 foot 2 inches. They have black or brownish-grey fur with black skin on their chest, palms and faces. Gorillas walk on all fours using the bottom of their feet and the knuckles on their hands.
