The Food Chain

What is a food chain? A food chain is where energy from the sun is transfered through many living things. For example; a rabbit eats the grass growing in the ground. The energy is transfered from the grass to the rabbit and whatever animal eats the rabbit, they get the energy from the rabbit.

Why is the food chain important? Without the food chain living things couldn't get the energy that they need to survive. So without it living things, including us, we couldn't survive
