1891--Went to Paris
1893--Received license of Physical Sciences
1894--Received license of Mathematics
1895--Married Pierre Curie
1898--Discovery of Polonium and Radium
1903--Received Doctorate of Science
Awarded Nobel Prize for Physics
Awarded Davy Medal of the Royal Society
1906--Pierre’s death
Marie appointed to Pierre’s professorship at Sorbonne
1908--Became titular professor
1910--Fundamental treatise on radioactivity was published
1911--Awarded Nobel Prize for Chemistry
1914--Completion of building the laboratories of the Radium Institute at the University of Paris.
1918--Radium Institute operates in earnest, to become a universal center for nuclear physics and chemistry.
1922--Member of the Academy of Medicine
1934--Marie Curie passes away due to leukemia caused by her extensive work in radiation.
