The World Bids Farwell to Marie Curie
On July 4, 1934 , in Sancellemoz - France, the world lost on
the most prominent scientists. Madame Curie died to a disease
caused by the elusive radium that she devoted her life to. To
this day - the Radium Institutes in both Warsaw and Paris
continue the work that Marie and Piere began. The Curie Institue
stands in living memory of the couple who had devoted their lives
to science.
