Inside the class area
This school had the front door on the South side with
an additional small entry vestibule area.
Three small shelves can be seen in the Southeast corner.
The entry area room is seen though the south front
door.
A wood stove used to heat the school remains in the
entry area.
The chimney used by the stove is seen.
A storage shelf cupboard is seen to the west of the
chimney.
One of the wooden doors with hinges used to close
this cupboard can be seen on the floor.
When electricity became available, lights were added
to this country school.
Unused for many decades, the ceiling is now gone,
and the roof has many openings.
The plaster walls show many years of age.
An outlet and the chaulkboard, located towards the front (North end) of the classroom area, can be seen.
