In 1988, the Middle School Band returned to Fort Dodge
to march again in the Frontier Days Parade.

Because the Middle School Band did not yet have a real marching banner,
the two girls are carrying one they made by painting on paper.

The Trombones are the first rank of players.   Band Director Spohnheimer's 6th grade daughter Sara can be seen
walking along with the band.   Next year she will be playing her trombone in the first rank.

Spohnheimer's 4th grade son Wayne is seen following the band.
In three years he will be old enough to be in the band and play his trumpet.
